Takoma Park 2-story Addition

This Takoma Park project combined a two-story addition with a comprehensive interior renovation, giving an existing brick colonial an entirely new personality. The addition introduced a striking exterior in forest green board-and-batten with black-framed windows, a screened porch, and an open rear deck overlooking a wooded yard backing up to rock creek park. Inside, the standout is a professional chef's kitchen anchored by hand-painted Moroccan tile, teal cabinetry, stainless countertops, and commercial-grade appliances — flowing into a butler's pantry and a warm sage-green dining room. Upstairs, the new primary suite features wraparound treetop views, vaulted ceilings, and a spa-inspired bath with navy subway tile and terrazzo floors. The result is a home that feels cohesive, design-forward, and built to be lived in.
